Born in Limerick and raised in Dublin, Ireland. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hugh moved to California in 2002. (Please scroll down the page for more)
Hugh's first U.S. cd release entitled 'Never Been Before' is the winner of multiple award nominations including Toronto Independent, Southern California and O.C. Music Awards.
Hugh tours extensively across the Southwest where he was voted one of the top 'live' male performers at the 2007 O.C. Music Awards.
In 2007 Hugh released two cd's. The first 'Got Irish?' is a live collection of Hugh's interpretations of well know Irish songs. The second cd entitled 'Retrospective: Pandora's Box' is a collection of some of Hugh's previously unreleased Irish recordings.
Then in June 2008 by popular demand Hugh released a second live CD which is entitled 'Irish & Cover Songs: Live & uncut'. Over the past few years Hugh has built up an enthusiastic following performing shows all over the Southwest, from Lake Tahoe to San Diego, Las Vegas to Tucson and everywhere in between.

Hugh is currently involved in a number of music projects.
1. A new original cd, entitled 'Finding Ireland In America' (which he has been working on with Grammy nominated songwriter Harriet Schock).
2. A 'live' DVD.
3. A second retrospective CD, which is entitled 'A Dreamer Lives Forever'... and
4. A 'year in the life' book Pt 1. (A collection of Hugh's best 'tales from the road', compiled from his first year of weekly blogs).
